Exhaust Header by BBK PERFORMANCE PARTS - 4014. The exhaust header or manifold is the first part of the exhaust system that transfers the exhaust gasses from the combustion chamber to the exhaust system. There are many differences between a stock manifold and an aftermarket header. Therefore, stock manifolds are cheaper, but they are low in performance, have poor scavenging, and generate a lot of back pressure. Headers that are designed with performance in mind provide enhanced scavenging for better engine performance and increases engine horsepower.

Headers can also be lighter than stock manifolds, but they are louder. BBK was founded by Brian Murphy, his best friend from high school Barry Morrison and Brian's younger brother Ken Murphy in 1988.
