Applications : Direct bolt-on for all 02-06 RSX Type-S With K20 engine ONLY. This header will also fit RSX Base models with Type-S Exhaust and EP3 with exhaust & front sway bar modification. 1320 Performance Tri-Y RSX race Headers are designed and engineered to maximize exhaust flow and increase both horsepower and torque throughout the power band like most Tri-Y designs, power gains are seen almost everywhere in the power band, not just the top end. Fitment is great with our header tubing passes perfectly through a tight area with extra clearance for engine movement. Our Tri-Y Design features stepped piping for better scavenging effect our Primaries beginning with 1.73 inches that progressively move into 1.89 inches, then 1.97 inches secondaries and finally 2.5 exit. Like all our stainless headers, it is assembled with mandrel bent, 304 stainless steel tubing and is fully tig welded. We also use a slightly thicker gauge tubing than other manufacturers that allows for better weld penetration and additional strength than other company.

The CNC cut 3/8 thick flanges are also double welded and then ported for optimum flow at entry and exit. This header directly replaces the OEM 2 piece design and eliminates the catalytic converter so we included a short 2.5 test pipe with o2 sensor spacer for the secondary O2 sensor.

The primary o2 sensor sits level with chassis secondary o2 sensor can be adjusted to a different angle with the o2 spacer make sure to tight up the jam nut on the spacer when you find the perfect angle.
